What/who will you take photos of?
Is everything/everyone an option?? As photographers we kind of have to market ourselves to a certain demographic (SEO amirite), but there’s no limit to what I want to get my camera on. If you have a unique project idea and aren’t sure if I’d be interested/up for it, just reach out and I’d be happy to talk through it with you.
As an alternative answer, I am absolutely open to working with any person regardless of their sex, gender, race, political affiliation or Hogwarts house sorting (but I bring strong Ravenpuff energy JUST FYI)
Where do you offer sessions?
I’m based in New Hampshire but willing to travel just about anywhere!
There are approximately 12,345 other wedding photographers to choose from. Why you?
There are sooo many talented artists out there, and I’m not going to tell you I’m a better photographer, technically speaking, than any other. Nor will I tell you that the fact that I care sets me apart, because it doesn’t - we all care about the work that we do and want to do right by our clients.
But I will tell you that the right photographer for you isn’t just the one who knows how to take well composed photos or has the best portfolio.- just because someone took amazing photos of someone else, it doesn’t mean they’ll take photos of you that you love, or capture what you’re looking for. I encourage anyone looking for a photographer, especially for a wedding, to have a real conversation with prospective artists to feel out the vibe and get a sense of whether that person is someone who not only understands them and their vision, but is uniquely equipped to facilitate the energy and process they need.
As photographers, we aren’t just taking pictures of you - we’re taking pictures of you interacting/vibing with us right beside you! So it’s as much about finding the right mutual fit as any other relationship, not a one-size-fits all situation. That being said, here’s some things about me that might make the idea of working with me more appealing or interesting:
I was actually a wedding singer for several years - between photography and singing I’ve worked over 50 weddings!
I have two rabbits - and yes I take many, many photos of them.
I’m almost certainly one of the most eccentric people you’ll ever meet but I can reign it in when I need to :p
My life is centered around honesty, open communication and respect - and I’ve made those principles the foundation of my business as well.
